Нашла в форуме инфу. Рикмана Роулинг ставила на первое место в своем выборе, НО предложила роль актеру Tim Roth, лишь потому, что думала, Рикман верняк откажется. По книге-то Снейпу слегка за 30 должно быть. Но дело в том, что Roth отказался от роли, Рикман согласился. Все как по маслу.
Плюс Roth ростом маловат, Рикман 186 см, Рот 173 см (он меньше Гарри мог бы быть! )
Chris Columbus cleared that up in an interview which he gave earlier this year or late last year. Alan Rickman was top of JKR'swish list to play Snape, they only offered it to Tim Roth first because they were convinced Alan would say no, as it turned out Tim said know so JK again told them to ask Alan, so they did and after some convincing Alan accepted... the rest as they say is history
As to Tim looking the role, sorry but he would need stilts he is only 5'7" Severus Snape is described as tall. Alan Rickman is 6'1" so he fits that desсriрtion and personally apart from the age difference he is how I pictured Snape, so I am with JK Rowling on this one. I also think that despite being 58 Alan does a brilliant job of portraying Severus and doesn't look his age. He actually doesn't look his age in real life either.
